That is how we combine regional production with carefully selected resources and short supply routes.

Can I see the Q-Olento in person first?

Yes. The Q-Olento is on display at selected partners and regularly at trade fairs. The best thing is to send us a short enquiry – we’ll tell you where you can see it near you.

Dine or Chef: which height suits me?

Accepted Answer

That depends on how you cook.

Dine (74 cm) is the table for home: everyone sits on regular chairs and everyone cooks along. And when the plate is off, the Lazy Susan turns it into a regular dining table for relaxed get-togethers.

Chef (95 cm) is made for cooking for a group: guests sit comfortably on bar stools, and whoever is cooking stands relaxed at the table, right in the middle of things.

Which plate size does my table have?

That depends on the table diameter: the Q-Olento with ⌀ 160 cm has a teppanyaki plate of ⌀ 70 cm, the Q-Olento with ⌀ 140 cm one of ⌀ 60 cm. This applies to Dine and Chef alike.

Where does the cable run?

We supply a 3 m power cable that you can unplug and put away at any time. It runs freely and is not permanently installed, so you are completely flexible about where and how you set up the table.

How is the grill plate powered and what connection do I need?

You can simply plug the Q-Olento into a standard 230V household socket and start grilling straight away.

Does grilling at the table produce a lot of smoke?

Because the grill plate is electric, there is no smoke or smell from charcoal or an open fire. Only when searing can a little cooking steam form. Ideal for relaxed evenings without watering eyes or smoke.

Does the oil spatter when cooking?

Normally not. The hot plate curves slightly inwards, so the oil stays where it belongs. Avoid using large amounts, though, as it can spatter.

No, quite the opposite. You can reach everything comfortably while seated.

Yes, no problem. The grill plate reaches full power even at low outdoor temperatures. Grilling together on cold winter evenings has a charm all of its own.

The table is shipped securely packed by freight carrier directly to your home. Delivery within Austria & Germany is free. The carrier will call you in advance to arrange the delivery date.

Does the carrier deliver the table into the garden / onto the terrace?

Standard delivery is kerbside. As the table is quite heavy, we recommend having 1–2 helpers on hand to receive it.

For an extra charge we offer premium delivery including assembly.

Your Q-Olento comes with a 24-month warranty for intended private use and 12 months for professional use. The warranty period begins on the date of the proof of purchase.

What happens in a warranty case?

Accepted Answer

In a warranty case we take care of repairing or replacing the affected unit free of charge. Transport, labour and spare-part costs are covered by the manufacturer. Excluded is damage caused by improper use, external influences, natural wear or unauthorised interventions.

Is the table weatherproof?

Yes. The table copes well with rain, sun and heat.
- Ceramic is particularly resistant to heat, frost & UV radiation.
- The stainless steel legs are also particularly resistant & rustproof.
- The wooden legs are made of solid oak, which has a high natural resistance and is ideal for covered terraces or areas that are not permanently exposed to heavy moisture.

How does cleaning work?

Pour a little water onto the still-warm plate, loosen residue with the spatula and wipe with kitchen roll – that is often all it takes. Wire brushes and scouring pads scratch the surface. For stubborn residue, wait until the surface is cold and use a non-scratch sponge with a little mild detergent.

How heavy is the table and is it delivered fully assembled?

The table weighs about 120 kg in total. The high-quality ceramic top is particularly robust and its weight also gives the table great stability and a secure stand.

It is delivered partly assembled. Assembly takes just a few simple steps. Because of the weight, however, we recommend assembling it with 2 to 3 strong people.

Does the ceramic need special care?

Accepted Answer

Ceramic is a very hard-wearing material — durable and less delicate than wood or natural stone. With the right care you keep your ceramic surface looking good for a long time.
- Regular cleaning: damp cloth with warm water, then wipe dry.
- Weekly cleaning: spray a suitable ceramic surface cleaner on undiluted, leave briefly, wipe off.
- Stubborn stains: apply a special cleaner (e.g. MDi Total Care) with a damp sponge without pressure, rinse with cold water.
- Do not use corrosive cleaners (hydrofluoric acid), scouring pads or metal wool.

What should I watch out for so the grill plate stays nice for a long time?

Accepted Answer

To keep the surface’s silky sheen, we recommend heat-resistant utensils without sharp edges or points. Spatulas made of materials that don’t scratch the surface are particularly suitable.

When cleaning, avoid aggressive cleaning agents and abrasive aids such as metal scourers or wire brushes. Always clean the grill plate along the grain where possible. This preserves the surface texture and avoids fine scratches. Avoid circular movements.
